About Us

John Blaettler, founder and principal of Blaettler Accountancy, has over 45 years of accounting and business consulting experience. John received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from UCLA in 1975 and his MBA from Santa Clara University in 1980. He became a CPA in 1979 and was a partner at various local accounting firms, including Greco & Filice, until forming his own firm in 1994.

John has earned an outstanding reputation for high ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality, and his longtime loyal clients include many of South County’s top business leaders. John is a Gilroy native and an active member in many local community organizations, including the Gilroy Garlic Festival, Gilroy Foundation, Gilroy Rotary Club, St. Mary’s School, and the Gilroy Gators Swim Team.
